how to read ebooks(pdf and other) using "kindle app for pc" application

after downloading and installing "kindle app for pc" application, just copy paste the ebook to the folder C:\Users\john\Documents\My Kindle Content
and run the kindle app on your PC . You should see the copied ebook in the library list. If not then press the refresh button in the app.
